Meet Chef Tricia

Yes, that is me, Tricia Lyon, doing what I love the most, cooking! Thank you for visiting my website, Josephine's Kitchen. I would love to tell you a little about myself, but first you are probably wondering who Josephine is!
Josephine was my italian grandmother. Ever since I can remember she had a magnet on her refrigerator that said "Josephine's Kitchen", and there was no other place in the world I would have rather been.

My very first memories is of me being in her kitchen, eating her home-made chicken soup, meatballs, and my grandfather sneaking cookies for me out of the cookie jar, which is still in my kitchen today.
Josephine started my love and passion for food and cooking.

Between Josephine and my mother Philomena they taught me all I know today. My mother owned an Italian restaurant and I worked there beside her in the kitchen and dining room learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business.

I am a mom of 5 children, who loves to cook for my family and friends,  it has always been an expression of my love for them, just like it was for Josephine and still is for Philomena.


I have a degree in Gourmet Cooking and Catering and I am also a proud member of The American Personal & Private Chef Association.
